Hi and Welcome to johnfick - the art of photography! Inspired by life’s “juices”, we have captured momentums of exclusive experiences in every individual we meet. These “juices” seep through moments in the everyday things and we are receptive to secure these times. In turn, we grow in great appreciation of God’s creation. His beauty is shown everywhere and we itch to encapsulate a frame. We are humbled to be trusted by many with our creativity and passion for this art. “Word of mouth” comes as a blessing to us as you, our clients, pass on our name to your families, friends and acquaintances and for that, we thank you so much. Through “Word of mouth”, you have taken us to grandeur places such as Hamilton Island, Queensland, Melbourne and other parts of the country. In these times, my wife and I are so grateful to work together with you and travel to take astounding photographs. And so we are pleased and honoured to serve you in this way. We look forward to new opportunities for our imagination to experience and somehow confine the magnitude of life! |
2009 was a blessed year for johnfick photography where we were able to produce a matured approach in our passion for this art. We brought forth our signatures in our photographs and have positively affected our viewers. We connected and reconnected with people. We established good friendships with our clients who have trusted our creativity and our impeccable taste in capturing great moments. We embraced challenges that made us stronger and better. This year has taken us to a promising direction where we continue to develop our craft. And we are truly grateful to all who took part in this journey.
In 2010 we continue to build, to re-introduce, to recreate, to re-inspire and shape our passion and determine our success as we grow wiser and learn and love more. We look forward to this year and all that lies beyond. It’s full steam ahead again as we embark on great adventures and share our gifts to the world. See you soon.

Victor and Vanessa
Every wedding we take is always special to us, as it becomes an opportunity to create something beautiful and lasting for the bride and groom. Victor & Vanessa had this classic themed dream wedding. Our goal was not only take great images but to achieve what is required of us. We kept our images it to its classic and ageless theme that will definitely last more than a lifetime.
We channel some of our creative ideas into other things such as studio shoots. We did a series of creative makeup and here are a few samples. Cheers!

A Family unit is an important and integral part of our society. How inspiring it is to see a family that is intact and full of life and love. They say that “a good tree bears good fruits”, where parents instill good values to their children and share the love that is naturally present within them. This is that kind of family in where their special bond is reflected by the way they treat each other. What an inspiration to see and to strive for. Whether or not moments are forgotten, these images will always remind them of their tight unit.
Being a photographer is a calling in itself; witnessing and capturing relationships like these affirm us of why we love Photography.
Sonny, Rona and family
Just like weddings, a family shoot can be as exciting. Spending time with the family was such a joy especially watching the children interact with each other. Showing their individual personalities by just observing them was enlivening and enriching. One could really tell the great relationship each of them shared with one another.

Colin Lee
It’s great that we get clients for formal portraits every now and then besides the weddings that we cover. It helps us focus more on the individual for a change. We had the opportunity to photograph Colin Lee, an entrepreneur and an educator who has also become a good friend of ours. Engaging with him was definitely a rewarding challenge. We had been inspired by what he does for the community and glad to be of service as well.

Ray and Marilyn were the calmest couple I have ever encountered. Ironically, on their big day, they were so conditioned to just have fun. Their energy levels radiated everywhere they were. The celebratory mood was set with the beating of the Derbekkah (Lebanese drum). You can certainly feel a high dose of adrenalin rushing through your body as you hear this merry noise! The whole day was marked with cheerfulness and festivities!
They are such an inspiring couple to know too. We are so grateful to them for allowing us to express ourselves creatively. May you both continue to exude the same joy and energy in your hearts. All the best!
Tim and Raizel
This Engagement shoot has been a unique experience for us with Tim and Raizel along with their pretty and playful daughter Lariza. It’s amusing having to photograph the couple while their daughter reacts to how “lovey-dovey” her parents could be. She is certainly a character! Congratulations!
Deepa and Lavin
We hadn’t met prior to this Engagement shoot with Deepa and Lavin but it was a beautiful and flawless day. They were a gorgeous couple and were very comfortable with us.
Debbie and Michael
It is a pleasurable experience to be with a couple that radiates their love and understanding in each other. No directions were needed for this couple, just minor suggestions, but they completely understood that all they needed to do was to be themselves. We are so grateful to them for allowing us to capture their dear and natural moments.
